Thomas A. Clark, M.D.

Dr. Thomas A. Clark is a Board Certified Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami, School of Medicine. Dr. Clark then entered the U.S. Navy as a doctor shortly after graduation. He completed his General Surgery at Oakland Naval Hospital and his Cardio/Thoracic residency at The National Naval Medical Center. Dr. Clark left active duty in 1978, however continued as an active member of the Navy Reserves until 1993. Dr. Clark has practiced in the Rio Grande Valley since 1978 and has served as head of Cardiovacular/Thoracic Surgery at Brownsville Medical Center and Valley Regional Hospital.

Filiberto Rodriguez, M.D.

Dr. Filiberto Rodriguez is a cosmetic fellowship trained, board certified surgeon specializing in cosmetic surgery and vascular medicine in McAllen and Brownsville, Texas.  He returns to his home in the Rio Grande Valley after twenty years of education and advanced training in some of the nation's most prestigious institutions.

After graduating magna cum laude from McAllen Memorial High School, Dr. Rodriguez completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University and attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine with a full academic scholarship. He completed his surgical training at Stanford University with advanced fellowship training in cardiovascular surgery. At Stanford, Dr. Rodriguez also performed research for which he received the American College of Surgeons Scholarship for the Study of Surgical Wound Healing in addition many other prominent awards.

Following nine years of General, Thoracic, and Cardiovascular surgical training at Stanford, Dr. Rodriguez ultimately chose to pursue training in plastic and cosmetic surgery, and he is one of the few plastic surgeons in the country who have undergone formal fellowship training in cosmetic surgery. After completing one year in the prestigious reconstructive plastic surgery residency program at UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Rodriguez chose to refine his cosmetic surgical skills and experience by undertaking an additional one-year fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at the Body Sculpting Center in Scottsdale, AZ, where he personally performed over 1000 surgeries, with a particular emphasis on beautiful body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty, breast enhancement, liposculpting, and gluteal augmentation, as well as facial rejuvenation.

In addition to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Rodriguez also applies his expertise in cardiovascular surgery to provide state-of-the-art care and minimally invasive treatments for varicose vein disease working with Dr. Thomas A. Clark, a cardiothoracic surgeon and founder of the RGV Vein Laser and Aesthetic Clinic.

Rosaly Torres, RN, BSN

Rosaly is a Registered Nurse specialty trained in Emergency Medicine and has been practicing since 1996.  She received her aesthetic training at the Aesthetic Medical Educators Institute for Physicians and Nurses in Austin, TX.   Rosaly performs a comprehensive range of procedures associated with anti-aging and skin rejuvenation such as BOTOX®, Radiesse and JUVÉDERM® injections, collagen rebuilding, Microdermabrasion, chemical peels, photofacial therapy, laser skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, MicroNeedling, VelaSmooth for cellulite, sclerotherapy to treat spider veins and hair removal. She is a member of the American College of Phlebology. Rosaly and her husband, Julio have lived in Brownsville since 2001.  They have 4 kids.
